Membership
CAFS membership is open to academics, students, professionals and others interested in promoting critical, interdisciplinary food studies research.
The membership fee is $50 per year for full members, $25 for students, and $150 for institutional members.

Please send CAFS brief announcements of special news regarding future conferences, calls for papers, position openings, or other relevant information you would like to share with other members. Include links and contact information in your posting so that interested members can follow up for more details. Information will be circulated on our listserv.
Research
CAFS would like to invite research ideas that identify important areas in need to be studied in more depth, as well as ideas about potential projects for graduate students. Please contact CAFS if you would like to contribute to this section. CAFS is committed building bridges between disciplines, regions, and cultures. We would particularly like to encourage collaborations between Francophone and Anglophone researchers. A listserv has been set up so that any member can post email to the group. We hope to use it for communicating among our members and informing you about forthcoming events, new publications, research findings, etc. Please use the "respond all" button carefully, using it only when you are sure of sending your message to the whole list. Members who are not careful about netiquette rules may loose their access to the list-serve.
